SPOKEN WORD: Poetry & Power

Together we will explore themes of identity, perception and power. Participants will draw from memory and lived experience to produce a poetic piece that challenges stereotypes and societal misperceptions in order to re-write their truths.

This workshop is part of OneLife Institute's Transformative Visions series, and is offered free of charge thanks to funding from the Akonadi Foundation.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Oakstop is conveniently located on BART and bus lines. If driving we recommend that you use one of the nearby lots, rather than street parking, since street parking is limited to 2-hours.
